Procedures: Coach Beard will split you into two groups. Group 1 will argue that "barbarian" is an accurate term for the Mongols, while group 2 will argue that term does not apply. In class on Friday we will spend time debating and discussing this term as it relates to the Mongols. Coach Beard will moderate and ask questions to prompt discussion. How am I graded? This will be graded similar to "circle of death/Socratic seminar". Coach Beard will grade you based on quality and quantity of arguments discussed in class. THIS WILL COUNT THE SAME AS A TEST GRADE.
